Childcare & Schooling
Coyote Pups Learning Den- Owned by a local mom, Kenzi Brown, Coyote Pups is one of the fastest growing, and most loved Childcare Facilities located in Williston. They currently have three locations. They offer full childcare services and have an awesome and very qualified team of teachers. They also provide early learning preschool services as well. They utilize an app that allows you to check on your child frequently, and makes you aware of all eating, potty use, incidents, naps and more. You also receive direct contact with your child's teacher.
Activities for Children & Mothers
Williston ARC- This is our community's one stop place. Where you can sign up your kids for parks and rec activities, visit the indoor waterpark, explore the many different activity areas such as turf, basketball, tennis courts, and indoor playground. There is a wonderful daycare that is very affordable within the ARC that I highly recommend for when mommy needs some time to herself within the building or would like to get in shape or take a class! Also at the same link provided, you can find information about all of the parks in the community and their locations. The ARC also offers tons of fun birthday party options. Follow them on Facebook for different classes, activities and sign up deadlines.

Jump N Fun – A local favorite for active play and parties! Their indoor space is packed with bounce houses, arcade games, and plenty of room for kids to burn energy. You can also rent the space for birthday parties and special events. Open Monday–Saturday from 10 AM–7 PM and Sunday from 11 AM–7 PM.

Davidson Park Splash Pad- Open only during the summer for OBVIOUS reasons. It is a free activity that is open to the public. Available for use from Dawn until Dusk!

Life Church Indoor Playground- Open to the public Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with additional hours on the weekend. There is also a coffee shop, Young Bucks, located within so this is a great spot for mommy meet ups. Follow Young Bucks on Facebook for more info on other activities that they do for children during the week!

New Hope Indoor Playground- Another indoor free playground that is available for the public to use. New Hope also offers a Coffee Shop, Mega Latte within so mom can get a treat while the kiddos play.

Strike Zone- Welcome to Williston's Bowling Alley! A Great place for Birthday Parties! There is also an arcade, and a bar located inside. They serve delicious food and it is a fun time for the whole family.

Safari Trampoline- Williston's Trampoline Park! Another awesome place for Birthday Parties or a few hours of fun. They serve pizza, and a variety of drinks, including zingers. They also have an arcade. Follow them on Facebook to find their toddler times and other various scheduled activities within their doors.

Thunder Valley Go Carts- Due to the nature of the business, they are open only during the summer months, and weather permitting, however if you catch a nice day, this is a blast! They also provide private party options!

Western Stars Gymnastics- Williston's only gymnastics studio. They offer classes as young as potty trained!

Studio 89 Dance Studio- Voted "Best in the Bakken" 4 years in a row! But just One of many Dance Studios amongst Williston. They offer a wide array of dance classes as well as tumbling classes. Classes start at 3 years old. They also offer fun themed camps during the summer if you are just looking to give it a try! Find them on Facebook for more info!

Western Star Music Academy - Kindermusik - Offering Kindermusik classes for children from birth through age seven, using the power and joy of music to support early learning and development. Through singing, movement, and play, kids build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music.

Williston Community Library- The name is self explanatory but our Library truly does a great job creating things to do within our community. Besides thousands of books, they also offer various classes and story times for all ages. (baby, toddler & preschool) A great way to stay in the know with Williston Community Library is to follow them on Facebook.

Williston Community Kids Events Facebook Group- This is a group that Jocci Rice, our founder created on Facebook to be a place where everyone can share the local kids events in one place. It can be hard to juggle them all. If you are planning on attending any childrens public event, please feel free to share it to our group so others can attend as well!

Williston Moms Meet Up Facebook Group- A group founded by the Olive Motherhood Foundation to open up the door for moms to shout out that they are headed on an outing with their littles, and would enjoy some adult company. We have scheduled meet ups through he foundation, but this is not just for us! This is a wide open tool for socialization for moms in our Community.​

Wild Three & Co.- Local Screenprinting Business, mama owned and operated! She does tons of sales and mostly operates online!​​
Lilac Lane- Lilac Lane has been in Williston for several years, and is the best high quality clothing for both girls and boys. They specialize in outfits for family photos. They also carry various items for mom, as well as the BEST toys!

Charlee Bear's Bowtique- Owned and operated by our Foundation President, Charlee Bear's Bows specializes in flapless bullet fabric bows, but also carries a variety of headwraps, sailer bows, and cheer bows. They also carry many sublimation onesies and shirts. They can be shopped at Hansen's Crafter's Unlimited, along with several other of our partners!
Hansen's Unlimited- The ultimate crafting stop and the best way to support MULTIPLE local businesses all in one place! Find handcrafted shops, and small boutiques and all the crafting supplies you need!

​Young Bucks at the Cabin- Owned locally by mother, Louise Skaare, she always has a fun event planned! They have three locations in Williston, one downtown and one by Walmart in the Badlands Strip Mall and one in the Life Church.

3 Amigos- Also locally owned 3 Amigos has the best burritos hands down. They also do catering! They bring a whole new level to burritos, and specialize in breakfast burritos!

My Swirl Frozen Yogurt & Fancy Dogs- Stop for a sweet or savory treat at My Swirl! The only stop in town for Frozen Yogurt and specialty hot dogs! Lots of nonfat, and low fat options, as well as fresh fruit!

McCoys Bar and Grill- Locally owned by a Williston Family at the Eagle Ridge Golf Course. They host many different meetings and parties, and have spectacular food. Check out their Prime Rib specials!

Kierstin Gunnels - Firefly Photography- You will find Kierstin at a variety of our events, and not just photographing. All of our photos on the home page of our website are taken by Kierstin. She specializes in mini shoots, and is currently working on perfecting the art of newborn photography. She is extremely patient, and kind. You family will love to work with her. She is also nearly the sole organizer of our Switch Witch Event that is at the Trail of Treats on Halloween, to create an inclusive Halloween experience for all children.

Midwest Lens- Owned by mother & business owner, Keri Hurley. Sneak Peeks Photography exploded with the featuring of newborn photos, and birth photography, but they also do family photos and milestone pictures as well!
